Job Description

A good media planner has the innate ability to combine fact-based analysis with creative thinking, along with the learned ability to be the calm center of every agency storm. At Paradowski, you’ll be surrounded by incredibly smart, collaborative people who rely on your expertise to help them get their ideas out into the world. You’ll enjoy a high degree of day-to-day variety, with different duties depending on the account. Your love of media and research should be second nature, and you should be able communicate your ideas effectively in both written and verbal form.

• Assist as liaison to media-buying partners, providing strategic direction and leadership on projects across multiple media types
• Facilitate information sharing between internal functions to ensure understanding of plan execution and research conclusions
• Source secondary and syndicated research in building/recommending target audiences to assist in media strategy and content development

• 5+ years of recent experience in a media planning function
• Familiarity with planning advertising campaigns using a variety of media types, with an emphasis on digital
• You’re equally comfortable collaborating and leading as you are listening
• You’re a self-starter and a self-learner
• Experience writing succinct POVs in which pros/cons are explored and supportable recommendations made
• You can present and rationalize your opinion in a group setting
• You’re diligent about tracking your assignments from start to completion and able to peel apart big assignments to make them manageable
• Experience planning for international markets a plus
• Excel, PowerPoint and Google Analytics experience a must
• Bachelor’s degree in advertising, communications, marketing or relevant studies
