Digital Engagement Intern

Coolfire Studios

Job Description

We team up with brands to develop purposeful video content for their social channels, and we do that by clearly defining objectives and audiences ahead of production. As an intern with our department, your role will be varied; you’ll pitch in with research, presentations, reporting, and probably get some meeting experience, as well. The interns that get the most out of this opportunity have an interest beyond the creation of “cool content” – they have a curiosity for what goes into that creation and what deems content successful.

What you’ll learn:
-Organic and paid methods for reaching a client’s audience
-Client reporting including taking raw data and translating that information into easy reporting for Coolfire Studios’ internal and external clients
-Social media publishing strategy, including hashtag research and identifying time of day, day of week hotspots for content calendars
-Research skills for identifying potential audiences and their preferred platforms
-Intradepartmental communication, collaborating with other team members to piece elements of social media and website strategy together to form full rounded marketing strategies for clients

-An enthusiasm for search marketing
-A passion for established and emerging social media platforms
-Background in Marketing, Communication, Business or other related discipline
-Communicative and assertive work style
-Previous experience in Microsoft Excel or Google Spreadsheets, including simple formulas and converting data into client-ready charts
-Current student who is eligible to receive course credit for internship
-Previous exposure to Google Analytics is a HUGE PLUS!
