Position Summary: Responsible for planning, managing and executing effective communication programs. Oversee at a senior level the key day-to-day activities and team members in the development of fully integrated marketing programs for our agency clients. Manage multiple projects across the marketing mix to ensure creative solutions are delivered in a timely, effective and efficient manner.

Develop, manage and begin to lead strong positive client relationships through account management including regular face-to-face meetings, telephone, and email communication. Multiple client contacts at varying levels are likely.
Communicate the client’s goals and represent the client’s interests to the team and agency partners.
Resolve challenges effectively and facilitate quality delivery of all project elements.
Interact with internal teams(s):
Collaborate with strategists, writers, creative/art directors, interactive designers, developers, traffic/ production and other account managers.
Handle campaign kick-offs properly, ensuring the team is briefed and are provided necessary creative input.
Work hand-in-hand with assigned creative lead to ensure deliverables meet the client’s project objectives.
Gather, monitor and analyze performance data and ongoing strategy on a rolling basis; provide feedback and recommendations.
Ensure that clients are supported in an efficient manner, informing the Account Director of any opportunities or problems that may arise.
Acts as an internal and external champion of the agency.
Own the estimating and tracking process; work with accounting to manage billing in a timely manner.
Project management duties across campaigns; timeline development for clients and the team.
Responsible for organic business development; educate clients on services offered to increase the revenue generated.
Directly manages account coordinators and account managers. Carries out managerial responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Fifth-year college or university program certificate; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strategic planning experience in building plans rooted in sound insights.
Have familiarity with fully integrated campaign management, inclusive of channels like: television, print, radio, outdoor, digital, content, and promotions.
Experience in digital marketing planning/development/execution, both paid and owned.
Proven account management skills in an agency setting required; experience developing integrated marketing plans.
Minimum 5-7 years of account service experience with management of direct reports.
Knowledge of Microsoft Suite and familiarity with Workamajig (formerly Creative Manager Pro) is a plus.
